Rare and valuable vintage automobiles from the Arizona Concours d’Elegance will be lined up for a free public viewing on Monday, January 16, at Scottsdale Waterfront’s South Canal Bridge.
The opportunity to see, hear and experience some of the finest collector cars, ranging from the dawn of motoring through the greatest racing and performance cars ever created, is part of the Arizona Concours’ annual Tour d’Elegance that takes place on the day following the Concours celebration of fine automobiles on Sunday, January 15, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix.
The Tour takes the Concours cars from the Biltmore parking lot on a drive through desert scenery to the Scottsdale Waterfront, where the Tour breaks for lunch starting at 11:30 am.
The cars will be parked on the scenic South Canal Bridge, just west of Scottsdale Road and south of Camelback Road, until 2 pm.
The public is invited to arrive early to witness these spectacular classic cars as they drive down Scottsdale Road and park at the bridge, adding kinetic energy to their sculptural forms. Then at around 2 pm, the cars will start off and roar away.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to view the wonderful automobiles of the Arizona Concours d’Elegance on the road and parked along the canal for the free show. Sunday’s Concours at the Biltmore will include 90 special automobiles, and a high percentage of them are expected to take part in Monday’s tour.
