Verizon’s Poison! Flash mob at Union Station

A group of DC students and community activists sent in this video of their action last week in support of Verizon workers’ struggle for justice. On February 12, 2012, converged on Verizon’s Union Station store for the latest flash mob supporting the 45000 workers who rocked the billionaire company last year with a high-profile strike. The workers are still without a new contract. Verizon refuses to offer a fair deal, instead demanding outrageous cuts to health benefits and pensions for workers and retirees. This billionaire corporation must not be allowed destroy good jobs that workers have fought for and won over years of union struggle.
