The Smart Meter Blues (British Columbia Version)
The Smart Meter Blues was written by several individuals, not by our talented vocalist. The authors are not affiliated with any of the organizations listed below. The song was written to get across some of the many issues that make “Smart” Meters a foolish and self-destructive choice for our province, civilization and planet. Together we can restore democracy, and a formerly healthy PUBLIC electric utility, in British Columbia. To begin, we must request a moratorium on Smart Meter installation, and/or a complete removal of Smart Meters. PETITIONS: (1.) Citizens For Safe Technology — ~15764 signatures: ….Therefore, the citizens of British Columbia request that a moratorium be placed on the wireless smart meter program until the major issues and problems identified regarding wireless smart meters are independently assessed with full public consultation, and until acceptable alternatives can be made available to the consumer.
