Interview with Pamela Cipriano, PhD, RN, FAAN, Editor-in-Chief of American Nurse Today
Pamela Cipriano, Chair of the American Academy of Nursing Workforce Commission on Technology in Nursing, describes the current state of automation in nursing practice. Nurses in all venues are eager to embrace technology to improve their work environment, eliminate waste in their work, and to decrease errors. Pam also describes the data collection process – Technology Drill Down (TD2) – used in this study to collect data and learn what technology nurses find essential to support improved patient care delivery.
