Piloting for a PGA Tour event is more challenging than a football game, for which the blimp basically circles for an overhead shot while not specifically focusing on anything in particular.

  The MetLife Blimp Program, initiated in 1987, underwent an expansion in 1994. MetLife
 operates three airships. known as “Snoopy One,” “Snoopy Two,” and "Snoopy J." Structurally, the blimps
 are the same A60+ model. All of the blimps are permanently decaled with the corporate logo
 “MetLife” on either side.

For the first three days, it will be all about the celebrities. Among the celebs will be – New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, NFL quarterbacks Drew Brees and Tony Romo; actors Bill Murray, Kevin Costner, Craig T. Nelson and Ray Romano; and musicians Michael Bolton and Kenny G.

Golf Channel will cover the action on Thursday and Friday, while CBS takes over on the weekend.
