Interview with Bret Viets Chief Pilot of Snoopy Two Airship for Metlife. Bret spent almost 30 years running his family’s funeral home. Here what he has to say.
“I’ve been coast-to-coast from New England, to California to Las Vegas to the Gulf Coast, and to see the country at 1,000 feet at 30 miles an hour is great,” said Viets, who’s married with two grown children. “We don’t have an office. This is our office.”
Piloting for a PGA Tour event is more challenging than a football game, for which the blimp basically circles for an overhead shot while not specifically focusing on anything in particular.
